⭐️ ZLK resonances and their coupling with mean-motion resonances: from the Kuiper belt to the inner Solar System
Posted on:August 18, 2026 at 12:00 PMMy AMCM 2026 talk on von Zeipel-Lidov-Kozai resonances and their coupling with mean-motion resonances, in the trans-Neptunian region and inside Jupiter's orbit: the deck and the theses, slide by slide.
New paper: all numbered asteroids in the ZLK resonance inside Jupiter's orbit
Posted on:August 18, 2026 at 10:00 AMA new paper in Astronomy & Astrophysics: a complete census of numbered asteroids inside Jupiter's orbit trapped in the von Zeipel-Lidov-Kozai resonance. Only 201 of 863,471, and, unlike in the trans-Neptunian region, almost none of them are in a mean-motion resonance.
New paper: a systematic survey of ZLK resonances among trans-Neptunian objects
Posted on:April 25, 2026 at 10:00 AMA new paper in Icarus: the first systematic census of von Zeipel–Lidov–Kozai resonances among trans-Neptunian objects. 81 TNOs trapped in ZLK — and every single one of them is also locked into a mean-motion resonance with Neptune.
